The Velmore Community Association
Velmore Church and Velmore Community Association are two independent bodies run by two separate charities. The Community Centre was born out of a co-operation between the local housing association, the Borough Council and the Church. The Church and Community Association share the same building: Velmore Centre, and act in partnership for many activities. A good number of the Church congregation will be found taking part in activities in the Centre or even just having coffee in the Centre Café. Both organisations seek to serve and enhance the community that we are placed in.
