Velmore Church

We would love to welcome you to our Sunday service, which starts at 10:30am and usually ends before noon, followed by refreshments in the cafe area. Our morning services are informal and relaxed and are led by a member of the Church.   Each service contains a variety of elements.  There’s a time of sung worship (modern songs and old favourites) accompanied by our group of musicians, time to pray together, a Bible reading and a message. The Bible readings and messages are based on planned series: our recent subjects have included:

• Questions asked of Jesus as found in Luke’s Gospel
• ‘God is in control’ – a series based on four psalms
• The book of Colossians
• The book of Daniel

We normally share communion together as part of the service on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. All who know the Lord Jesus as their Saviour are welcome to join us as we remember what Jesus did for us.
Children are welcome: they would normally stay for the first part of the service, then go out for their own activity.
